Guitar Factory Parramatta

About Guitar Factory Parramatta from guitarfactory.com.au

The Guitar Factory Parramatta is the western suburbs' longest continuously trading music store. Originally trading as Watsons Music from the early 1960's, the store was purchased by Ross and Paul Chalker in 1972.

Stan Mobbs, and current owner Lewis Mallia, took over the store in 1985. From that point onwards, we've evolved from selling solely guitars to a full line modern music store supplying drums, keyboards, P.A., recording equipment and computer-assisted music making gear. Stan retired in 2019, but often still assists us with instrument repairs due to his invaluable lifetime of experience. Lewis remains as captain of the ship, easily clocking the most hours in this building during any given week, along with sons Dylan & Alec, also now long-time staff members.

Our specialist divisions operate under three different banners, with Guitar Factory on level 1 of 255 Church Street, Sound Devices on level 2 and Drum Factory is located right next door at 257 Church Street, Parramatta.
