When I first took my treasured '97 Strat to Rob, correct intonation was impossible to acheive. The frets were worn wedges way beyond dressing, the board was warped, and the finish was worn to wood all along the edges. It was a nightmare to play. After a full Refret, a run through the PLEK and a lot of love from Rob, it is a totally different instrument. The board radius is perfect, the new bone nut is perfect, the oversized frets are perfect, and the "Nicotine Burst" lacquer job is stunning.
